Portland based artist Nina Montenegro unveiled a 'Free The Billboards' exhibit on N Williams Ave. Viewers look through the modified View-Master and see images which appear as if they were on the billboard. The project was inspired by asking friends what they would rather see advertised in their neighbourhood. Portland, OR, USA, 18/09/2012.

The focus is on a grower and four people in Portland, Oregon that medicate using marijuana for a range of symptoms. The case studies formed are reflective of the wider population of users not only in the USA but globally.
A short piece on taxidermist Charlie Tuesday Gates who works in front of live audiences in a D.I.Y. fashion. Although she has no professional experience or education in this field, her determination and perseverance is shown amongst the surgical procedures she performs. Viewers are encouraged to have a crack – quite literally when one girl snapped the legs of a rabbit with pliers to get the bones out of the skin. All animals are sourced either as road kill or farm surplus – none are harmed in the process. All other parts such as salt – to clean and preserve the skin, thread, needles and cotton are purchased for as cheap as possible, generally from Tesco's.
